Terms of Use

Conditions governing access to the Albiétar website, newsletter subscriptions, donations and participation in our activities.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Website owner

In accordance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the owner of this website is Asociación Albiétar, a non-profit organisation with its registered address at carretera de Ávila a Casavieja 48, portal B, 1.º 7, 05113, Burgohondo, Castilla y León. Spanish tax identification number (NIF): G05612056.

Contact email: asociacionalbietar@gmail.com.

Full registration details will be published on this page once the association's registration process is complete.

2. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of the Albiétar website, whose purpose is to share information on woodland affected by the July 2026 wildfires, publicise restoration work and facilitate citizen, business and institutional participation.

Accessing the website and using its functions implies full acceptance of these conditions. If you disagree with any of them, please do not use the website.

3. Proper use of the website

By using this website, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful, up-to-date information in forms, particularly an email address that belongs to you.
  • Not subscribe other people without their consent.
  • Not use forms automatically, in bulk or abusively, or attempt to alter the website's operation.
  • Not distribute unlawful, defamatory content or content infringing third-party rights through our contact channels or community.

The association may suspend access or cancel subscriptions that breach these rules.

4. Newsletter subscriptions

Subscription is voluntary and free. When you subscribe, you will receive an email whenever there are updates about wildfire developments, relevant news and our reforestation proposals.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect immediately, except for emails already being sent.

The processing of your email address is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Donations

Donations are voluntary and earmarked in full for the damage assessment, emergency stabilisation, planning, reforestation and maintenance projects described in the association's roadmap.

At this stage, contributions are made by bank transfer or Bizum using the details provided to the person concerned; the website does not process card payments or store banking details.

All donations are recorded in the association's accounts and a receipt may be requested. Unless a material error is proven, donations are non-refundable because they are gifts.

6. Volunteering and business collaboration

Volunteering and corporate volunteering forms and contact channels are expressions of interest and do not, by themselves, create employment or commercial relationships or oblige the association to accept an application.

Field activities are governed by applicable volunteering regulations, technical and safety instructions issued by the association for each activity, and permissions from landowners and the competent public authority.

7. Intellectual property

The logo, Albiétar name, texts, illustrations and other website content belong to the association or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

Partial reproduction of educational content for non-commercial purposes is permitted provided the source is acknowledged and a link to this website is included. Any other use requires prior written permission.

8. Liability

Technical information on seeding, fascines, dry-stone check dams and seed collection is general and educational. It does not replace the judgement of qualified technical staff or the permissions required to act on public or private land.

The association is not liable for damage arising from activities undertaken independently on the basis of this information, or for technical service interruptions, although it will endeavour to keep the website available and up to date.

Links to third-party websites (social networks and the WhatsApp community) are provided for convenience; their owners are responsible for their content and conditions.

9. Changes and applicable law

The association may change these terms to reflect legislative changes or new services, always publishing the update date.

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts where the association has its registered address, unless consumer legislation specifies another mandatory jurisdiction.
